Tired of seeing just does and shooting young buck deer?  Trophy Bucks are entirely different animals than does or young deer.  Hunting Trophy Whitetail Deer require scouting and skills and knowledge that you only get from years of deer hunting or instruction from someone who knows how to hunt trophy bucks consistently and successfully.

90% of all Whitetail bucks are taken by about only 10% of the deer hunters. But... probably less than 1/10th of one percent of these deer hunters consistently take trophy white tail deer year after year.  But before the 1940s we had very few deer in Kentucky due to over farming and uncontrolled hunting.  However hunters in the 1940's agreed to impose a tax on sporting goods and paid hunting license fees which helped to pay for wildlife habitat.  Conservation groups such as whitetails unlimited, Ducks unlimited and others became popular which further helped to bring back deer and other game.  Today trophy deer are more abundant than ever before.  But their seems to be a lack hunters and sportsmen to contribute and these groups need your help.

Reading books or watching videotapes about deer are a step in the right direction, but that only gives you an armchair "technical" knowledge.  Practical application and hands on training by "doing it" is far more important.  In the sections on Deer hunting you will find  information on how to properly scout and hunt whitetails.
